The Powerful Word of the Month this month is “health.” Health is “complete wellbeing of body, 

mind and spirit.”  Of course, this isn’t all that easy.  We come up with lots of excuses of why we 

don’t take care of our health; time, energy, age, injury, genetics and the list goes on and on.  Our 

health winds up being “pushed to the back burner” for another day when we have more time.  

Unfortunately, the more we procrastinate, the less time we have to get healthy!  Our health, both of 

body and mind, is a pure reflection of the care we put into it today and yesterday.  And once we lose 

it, it is difficult to regain.  As great speaker, Jim Rohn once said, “Take care of your body. It’s the 

only place you have to live.”    We can add, “take care of your mind, it’s the only place you have to 

think!”  This month, ask yourself, “what am I doing today to keep myself healthy for tomorrow?”
