Children rarely get to be the leaders in families. In martial arts, it’s common for the child to begin before the Parent makes the child the Coach. Children enjoy teaching their parents how to do the techniques properly which can be fun. Children enjoy role playing where they can be the martial arts instructors & Parents are the students. It helps their imagination & builds confidence. A favorite game our children play is “Sensei says” it’s a martial arts version of Simon says. Children love the challenge.
