Welcome to Yamanni Ryu Weapons Training Discover the Art of Yamanni Ryu Okinawan Weaponry
Welcome to our Yamanni Ryu Weapons Training, where ancient tradition meets modern practice. Our system is dedicated to the study and mastery of Yamanni Ryu, a distinguished Okinawan martial art centered around the bo (staff). This tradition dates back to Sakugawa Kanga, who learned the art in China and was entrusted with the protection of prominent Okinawan families. The Chinen family refined this art, with Chinen Sanda (Yammani Tanmei) developing the iconic bouncing bo concept. His grandson, Chinen Masami, later named the style after him, solidifying its legacy.
